Kids’ Zone

The Cold Lake Air Show is one of Canada’s premier aviation events, attracting approximately 30,000 spectators over the weekend, and recently earning the 2024 Dick Schram Memorial Community Relations Award, an international honour recognizing excellence in the military air show community engagement. We are proud to continue building an event that brings together aviation enthusiasts, families, performers, and incredible partners like you.

This year, following our mission to spark curiosity and ignite a love of aviation through hands-on STEM experiences, and advancing our vision to inspire the next generation of innovators, explorers, and aviation enthusiasts, we’re building an even more dynamic Kids’ Zone — a hub of discovery where interactive activities help kids connect with flight through real-world demonstrations and tactile exploration. Where Imagination Takes Flight — STEM Takes Off!

Be Part of the Kids’ Zone Experience:

We are seeking organizations that share our vision and want to work together to create engaging, educational, and memorable experiences for kids. Ideal partners can offer one or more of the following:

• Interactive, hands-on STEM or aviation-related activities, demonstrations or displays.
• Kid-friendly learning experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
• Staff or volunteers who can support and deliver your activity throughout the event weekend.
• Unique ideas or specialized expertise that bring your organization’s mission to life in a fun, accessible way.

Proposals may include a single activity, themed booth, live demonstration, or educational exhibit. We welcome concepts that will help make the Kids’ Zone an inspiring and engaging space.
