Traffic Plan

The 2024 Cold Lake Air Show requests spectators adhere to the following routes when travelling to the Show:

• Arriving from Cold Lake South:
  at 50th Ave follow directions on Veterans Drive to the parking areas on base.
• Arriving from Cold Lake North:
  take Highway 55 west and proceed South on Highway 897 to gain access through 4 Wing’s back gate.
• ATV Access
  ATVs may access the show using the Iron Horse Trail, adjacent to the Kingsway. Bicycle and pedestrian traffic are requested to use the millennium trail also adjacent to the Kingsway.

On Saturday and Sunday, July 20 & 21, from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, Veterans Drive will be set up to allow a three lane traffic ingress to 4 Wing.

Admission gates are only open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

From 2:30 pm on, Veterans Drive will facilitate a three lane egress from 4 Wing (no inbound traffic permitted).

Access to/from 4 Wing can be obtained via the back gate at any time.
