Valour Place provides a home away from home for military members and Veterans who have to travel to Edmonton for medical tests and treatments. The facility has made a huge difference for serving and retired military personnel from 4 Wing Cold Lake, their families, and families of the fallen.
Valour Place offers its services free of charge, and depends entirely on donations for its funding.

“There is nothing to improve in my opinion. Having attended the previous air show in Cold Lake there were definite traffic and concession problems but this was the most impressive and professional air show I have ever been to. What an enjoyable experience, thank you. We look forward to the next show.” – Spectator from Morinville, AB
“Everything was wonderful!!! Very well organized! Our company raved about it! The water stations were a fantastic touch and nice to have lots of washrooms! Layout and traffic control amazing. The show was breathtaking!! Well done!!!” – Spectator from Cold Lake, AB
“…the Cold Lake Air Show was by far the best air show I’ve seen.” – Spectator from Prince Albert, SK
“Very well done Cold Lake. It's great to get that close to the exhibits and the performance field…We will be back!” – Spectator from Sherwood Park, AB
“The military was awesome. Other places should take your lead in how organized it was.” – Spectator from Fort Saskatchewan, AB
“The [parking] rows really, really, really need to be marked somehow…Otherwise everything else was improved 10 fold…” – Spectator from Vegreville, AB
“[The sound system] only audible on the grassed area. That said, it was nice to have my child at the static displays and not have to shout over the commentary.” – Spectator from Leduc, AB
“I recommend some beverage recycling bins placed around the grounds.” – Spectator from Fort McMurray, AB
“I think the static displays could have been placed closer together. It was a lot of walking to be done to see everything especially with having younger ones. Definitely loved having a kid’s area and the fact that it was free with admission was great. Over all it was a good time.” – Spectator from Edmonton, AB
